Youth Horsemanship Classes. Make friends and learn about horses with other
youths that love horses also. You will learn how to safely tie, groom, saddle and
bridle, mount and ride English and Western. Some classroom learning, plus
hands on learning! We will be working with training your horse/pony and using
your aids to make you a stronger and better rider. We will be working on
Showmanship, pleasure, equitation and trail. This is a great way to get ready for
the 2010 show season. You will have to bring your own horse/pony or lease one
of ours. Each rider must have the use of a horse/pony.
You do not have to attend every week but it is highly recommend that you do. It
will be cancelled for bad weather.
$30 a week
$20 for 4-H'er and barn members
$45 if you use one of our horses/pony
